Just added work by Brian Perrin to our gallery

"Slate Quarry" etching 1970

We are delighted to be working with printmaker Brian Perrin. We have a broad selection of Brian's prints available, which we selected when we met with him recently at his home and studio. It was great to meet Brian who has been printmaking for many years. In 1960 Brian was one of the youngest printmakers to have a suite of prints published by the famous St George's Gallery in Cork Street, London. Some of these rare early etchings from the St George's gallery are available at our gallery and on our website. The prints we have available date from 1959 through to more recent work in 2010.

Brian Perrin studied at The Royal College of Art and won the Rome Scholarship (Prix de Rome) in 1954. He was Head of Printmaking at Wimbledon School of Art from 1964 - 1997. Much of his work is based on landscape and from his many sketches and drawings he makes his etchings. His work is held in many public collections including the British Council Collection and the Government Art Collection.
