The opening week of our Charles Bartlett Exhibition
A busy week.

Our exhibition of etchings by Charles Bartlett opened last week and has gone really well. Charles and his wife Olwen came down to open the show and had a lovely weekend in Eastbourne and enjoyed meeting everyone at the gallery. Thank you very much to everyone who has shown so much interest in Charles's work.

Many of the etching sold in this first week but most will be collected only at the end of the show so they are still available at the gallery to see. With so many sold we asked Charles if he could look through his remaining etchings and find some more! He has just sent a few more etchings which are now in the gallery and will be on our website very shortly on the exhibition pages.

The etchings, made mostly in the 1970s and 80s were made by Charles in small limited editions. The copper etchings plates were then scratched through and scrapped by Charles. As such many of the etchings are the last of the edition available for sale.

The exhibition runs until Saturday 27th March 2010 and will also be on line on our website.
