Starting on 26th November and running up until Christmas Eve we will be showng a range of work by the different printmakers we represent. On show will be new work by some of our contemporary printmakers and we will also have a number of older prints which we have not shown before. Most will be available framed so ready for Christmas.

Penfold Press is a printmaking studio based in York run by printmaker Daniel Bugg. Bugg works with artists such as Mark Hearld and Emily Sutton to produce highly collectable limited edition screenprints and linocuts. This will be the first time that The Penfold Press have held an exhibition in the South East and we are delighted that they have chosen Emma Mason Gallery as the venue for this exciting exhibition of new work by some of the country’s leading young artists and printmakers.

All work will be available for sale.

An exhibition of new prints by Michael Kirkman. Last year Michael completed his MA at the Royal College of Art and this is his first solo show. Many of the print editions he has made to date have sold out and Michael has recently completed commissions for Faber & Faber and the National Theatre. We hope you can join on the opening Saturday when Michael will be with us in the gallery for the day.

We are showing a selection of work by artist, Denise Hoyle. Although this is a departure from prints, Denise is the widow of printmaker, Walter Hoyle (1922-2000) and in the Autumn we are having an exhibition of Walter’s prints.

We will show Denise's delicate watercolours of carefully observed flowers and plants from her garden, English ceramics from her home, and shells and feathers found whilst out walking.

All the works in this exhibition are hand painted pencil and watercolour studies and all are sgned in pencil by Denise Hoyle. The works date from the mid 1990s to the present day.

13th November until 11th December.

The exhibition will run from Saturday 2nd - Saturday 23rd October.
