Biography
John O'Connor was born in Leicester in 1913. He studied at the Royal College of Art where his tutors included Eric Ravilious and John Nash. He illustrated many books and had his work in many exhibitions. From 1948 to 1964 O'Connor was Head of Colchester College of Art. His work is held at the Arts Council, The Tate Gallery, and British Museum.
