Artist and designer Joyce Pallot was born in Brightlingsea, Essex. She is known for her mural reliefs, created with her husband Henry Collins. She was also a painter and printmaker. She studied Industrial art and design at Colchester Schhol of Art. She worked on important project including the 1951 Festival of Britain.She was a founding member of the Colchester Art Society, when she regularly exhibited.
