Andy Lovell was born in east London. He studied at Liverpool School of Art and Design (1983-86) where he specialised in illustration. He has had numerous commissions for newspapers, magazines and books and held several exhibitions of his prints. He works using drawing and painting as the starting point for his prints, mainly lithographs and silkscreen prints.
